Hello and welcome to Fables and Fairy Tales Themed Reading Program Blog!
We are so happy that you are here! Our names are Beatriz Morales and Rachel Reed and we have designed fun fantasy-themed reading programs for all ages, infants to teens for the Morales Reed Public Library.
Once Upon a Time in Toddler Time is a program developed to have infants and toddlers explore mythical and magical creatures through music, reading, and play. These programs are for caregivers and children up to 3 years old.
Storytime Taco Party is our preschool age program to help encourage preschoolers to read by having fun stories and activities. These programs are for children age 4 to 6 years old.
Making magic with Zoey and Sassafras is our elementary age program. Children ages 7 to 11 years old will use science to create magical glowing drawings of mythical creatures.
The Exquisite Corpse Comic Challenge is our program for tweens and teens to flex their imagination and storytelling skills through a group-created fantasy comic strip. This program is for children ages 12 to 17 years old.
